This is the fourth condition of an investable brand, and the one owners tend to overlook until it is late. As an intellectual property agent licensed by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP), Mohammed Alhasoon checks the name, selects its class with the eye of someone who builds and operates brands, and follows the application through to the registration certificate.

| Additional class for the same trademark · separate application with full government fees | 1,500 SAR |

| Trademark ownership transfer · when a partner or investor joins or on sale, with review of the assignment clause | 2,000 SAR |
| Recording a trademark license agreement | 2,000 SAR |
| Opposition to a third-party registration, or appeal of a refusal decision | Separate quote |
A formal authorization linked to the agent within the SAIP platform. The form is sent to you with an explanation of its steps.
Search of the name, selection of the correct class, and a written report within two business days.
Filing within 3 business days, then SAIP examination, whose duration varies with the class and the examiner’s comments, with responses to examiner remarks handled by the agent.
60 days of publication for third-party opposition, then payment of the final fee and issuance of the certificate in your name.
Government timelines are estimates and depend on SAIP's schedule. The acceptance decision rests with SAIP alone; the agent commits to professional diligence and every available legal step, and does not guarantee a particular decision.
Fill in the details and WhatsApp opens with a ready message; you receive a reply with the next step and the power of attorney form. No application is filed before agreement and payment.
The class follows the actual activity, not only the product. A cafe serving drinks on site falls under Class 43; if it also sells packaged beans under its brand, it needs Class 30 as well. The check identifies the first class and the classes worth adding later, without pushing you toward classes you do not need.
Because they are SAIP fees payable by anyone registering in Saudi Arabia, whether through an agent or as the owner directly: 1,000 for filing, 500 for publication, and 5,000 on acceptance. When comparing any offer, always ask whether the number includes government fees or professional fees only.
No one can guarantee it; the decision rests with SAIP. What is assured is that the name is checked before payment, that the class and description are prepared to reduce common grounds for refusal, and that any examiner remark is answered within the price.
Usually a single review: Is the registered form your current form? Does the class match your activity today? Are the name, domain, and accounts held by the same entity? This review is part of the diagnostic session, or it can be requested as a standalone check for 750.
The scope of the agent's license covers representation before SAIP and its committees, where many disputes are resolved. If a dispute reaches the Commercial Court, a licensed attorney is appointed in your name and with your authorization, while file management remains with the agent. The real value is created before any dispute: in choosing the name, the class, and the timing of filing.
